Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane visited the Canacona Community Health Centre (CHC) on Friday, where locals presented a memorandum detailing numerous concerns. Residents highlighted issues with medical services, staff attendance, and basic amenities, stating these gaps cause daily hardship. Key demands included a biometric attendance system, timely OPD starts, and consultant punctuality. The memorandum also called for adequate doctor postings in rural dispensaries and reopening the old hospital building. Infrastructure needs like drainage, water supply for dialysis, and electrical repairs were also flagged.

गोवा के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री विश्वजीत राणे ने शुक्रवार को कैनाकोना कम्युनिटी हेल्थ सेंटर (CHC) का दौरा किया, जहाँ स्थानीय लोगों ने उन्हें एक ज्ञापन सौंपा जिसमें कई चिंताएँ बताई गई थीं। निवासियों ने चिकित्सा सेवाओं, कर्मचारियों की उपस्थिति और बुनियादी सुविधाओं के साथ समस्याओं को उजागर किया, और कहा कि इन कमियों से रोज़ाना परेशानी होती है। मुख्य मांगों में बायोमेट्रिक उपस्थिति प्रणाली, OPD का समय पर शुरू होना और सलाहकारों की समय की पाबंदी शामिल थी। ज्ञापन में ग्रामीण डिस्पेंसरियों में पर्याप्त डॉक्टर पोस्टिंग और पुराने अस्पताल भवन को फिर से खोलने की भी मांग की गई थी।
