The Samajwadi Party (SP) has pushed back against reports of the Congress seeking a three-digit seat share for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls, asserting that "winnability" will be the sole criterion for ticket distribution. Senior SP leaders urged the Congress to form a formal alliance committee for discussions, rather than negotiating through the media. SP president Akhilesh Yadav reiterated that while the alliance will continue, candidate selection will be based purely on winnability assessments, not fixed quotas.

समाजवादी पार्टी (सपा) ने 2027 के उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनावों के लिए कांग्रेस द्वारा तीन अंकों की सीट हिस्सेदारी की रिपोर्टों को खारिज कर दिया है, और जोर देकर कहा है कि टिकट वितरण के लिए 'जीत की क्षमता' ही एकमात्र मानदंड होगी। वरिष्ठ सपा नेताओं ने कांग्रेस से मीडिया के माध्यम से बातचीत करने के बजाय, चर्चा के लिए एक औपचारिक गठबंधन समिति बनाने का आग्रह किया। सपा अध्यक्ष अखिलेश यादव ने दोहराया कि गठबंधन जारी रहेगा, लेकिन उम्मीदवारों का चयन निश्चित कोटे के आधार पर नहीं, बल्कि पूरी तरह से जीत की क्षमता के आकलन पर आधारित होगा।
