Retired IAS Officer Found Murdered at Bhopal Home; Caretaker Suspected

A retired 1982-batch IAS officer, Rakesh Agrawal, was found murdered at his Bhopal residence on Wednesday morning. Police suspect his caretaker, Varun Kumar, hired just four days prior, committed the crime. Kumar allegedly robbed cash and jewellery, then attempted to set the house on fire before fleeing. Agrawal's wife was found semi-conscious at the scene. The suspect's movements are being tracked via CCTV footage, with his phone briefly detected at Bina railway station.

भोपाल में रिटायर्ड IAS अधिकारी की हत्या; केयरटेकर पर शक

बुधवार सुबह भोपाल में 1982 बैच के रिटायर्ड IAS अधिकारी राकेश अग्रवाल अपने घर में मृत पाए गए। पुलिस को शक है कि चार दिन पहले ही काम पर रखे गए उनके केयरटेकर वरुण कुमार ने यह वारदात की है। कुमार ने कथित तौर पर नकदी और गहने लूटे और फिर घर में आग लगाने की कोशिश कर फरार हो गया। अग्रवाल की पत्नी घटनास्थल पर अधमरी हालत में मिलीं। संदिग्ध की हरकतों पर CCTV फुटेज से नज़र रखी जा रही है, उसका फोन थोड़ी देर के लिए बीना रेलवे स्टेशन पर डिटेक्ट हुआ था।
