Bombay HC Orders Release of Seven Activists Detained During CJP Protest

The Bombay High Court held an urgent Sunday hearing and ordered the immediate release of seven individuals detained during a Cockroach Janata Party protest in Panaji. The court noted that the detention might not have been authorised, as no prohibitory orders were in place. Senior advocate Norma Alvares provided an undertaking that the detainees would not protest at Azad Maidan, leading the court to direct their release.
