Jammu & Kashmir Minister Dismisses MP's Exit Impact on National Conference Party
Times of India · politics
Jammu and Kashmir minister Javed Rana has dismissed speculation that Srinagar MP Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi's planned exit would affect the National Conference party. Rana stated that if Mehdi decides to leave, he will do so alone and it would not impact the party's strength. He asserted that the government under Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and the party organisation led by Farooq Abdullah remain robust. Rana attributed reported discontent to the limited ministerial positions, with many legislators aspiring for cabinet berths.
