Thane Diwali Relief: Water Cuts Cancelled For Two Weeks

The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has cancelled scheduled water cuts for Thane for two weeks in observance of the Diwali festival. Weekly 24-hour cuts imposed by STEM and the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) have also been withdrawn for the festive period. This ensures uninterrupted water supply to Mumbra, Diva, Kalwa, Majiwada-Manpada, and parts of Wagle ward. The decision aims to prevent citizens from facing water shortages during the celebrations, with supply continuing on November 5 and 12.

ठाणे दिवाली राहत: दो हफ़्तों के लिए पानी कटौती रद्द

महाराष्ट्र औद्योगिक विकास निगम (MIDC) ने दिवाली के त्योहार के मद्देनज़र ठाणे के लिए दो हफ़्तों की तय पानी कटौती रद्द कर दी है। STEM और ठाणे नगर निगम (TMC) द्वारा लगाई गई साप्ताहिक 24 घंटे की कटौती को भी त्योहारी अवधि के लिए वापस ले लिया गया है। इससे मुंबई, दिवा, कलवा, माजीवाड़ा-मानपाड़ा और वागले वार्ड के हिस्सों में पानी की निर्बाध आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित होगी। इस फैसले का मकसद नागरिकों को उत्सव के दौरान पानी की कमी का सामना करने से रोकना है, जिसमें 5 और 12 नवंबर को भी आपूर्ति जारी रहेगी।
