University of Arizona Suspends All Fraternity Activities Amid Misconduct Reports

Hindustan Times · education

The University of Arizona has suspended all fraternity activities due to persistent reports of misconduct, including assault, hazing, and drug and alcohol violations. The Dean of Students Office is investigating multiple reports involving nearly half of the school's Interfraternity Council chapters, just seven weeks into the fall semester. These incidents follow previous misconduct findings and criminal investigations. The suspension prohibits all organizational activities until advisers meet with the Dean, who stated the number and severity of cases are egregious and the university's Greek experience is under scrutiny nationwide.
