The Tamil Nadu government has revised its Legislative Assembly Travelling Allowance Rules, setting a new ceiling for car purchases. Ministers, the Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Leader of the Opposition, and Chief Government Whip are now capped at ₹26 lakh for vehicle acquisition. All other MLAs will have a purchase limit of ₹15 lakh. These ceilings will be subject to a 5% annual increase. The government will manage the procurement and maintenance for Ministers, while the Assembly Secretariat and District Collectors will handle arrangements for other officials and MLAs respectively.

तमिलनाडु सरकार ने विधानसभा यात्रा भत्ता नियमों में बदलाव किया है, जिससे वाहन खरीद के लिए नई सीमा तय हो गई है। मंत्रियों, स्पीकर, डिप्टी स्पीकर, विपक्ष के नेता और मुख्य सरकारी सचेतक के लिए अब वाहन खरीदने की अधिकतम सीमा ₹26 लाख होगी। अन्य सभी विधायकों के लिए खरीद की सीमा ₹15 लाख होगी। ये सीमाएं सालाना 5% बढ़ाई जाएंगी। सरकार मंत्रियों के लिए खरीद और रखरखाव का प्रबंधन करेगी, जबकि विधानसभा सचिवालय और जिला कलेक्टर क्रमशः अन्य अधिकारियों और विधायकों के लिए व्यवस्थाएं संभालेंगे।
