Mangaluru's Deputy Commissioner Darshan HV has directed the police department to regularly share information with the Women and Child Development (W&CD) Department on cases involving women and children. This timely sharing of details is crucial for the department to provide necessary support and interventions. Between April and September 2026, Dakshina Kannada registered 155 cases of atrocities against women and children, including rape and POCSO cases. The DC also stressed the importance of widespread awareness for the 181 women's helpline and ensuring Internal Complaints Committees are established in all factories.

मंगलुरु के उपायुक्त दर्शन एचवी ने पुलिस विभाग को महिलाओं और बच्चों से जुड़े मामलों की जानकारी महिला एवं बाल विकास (W&CD) विभाग के साथ नियमित रूप से साझा करने का निर्देश दिया है। यह समय पर जानकारी साझा करना विभाग के लिए आवश्यक सहायता और हस्तक्षेप प्रदान करने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। अप्रैल से सितंबर 2026 के बीच, दक्षिण कन्नड़ में बलात्कार और POCSO मामलों सहित महिलाओं और बच्चों के खिलाफ अत्याचार के 155 मामले दर्ज किए गए। डीसी ने 181 महिला हेल्पलाइन के लिए व्यापक जागरूकता के महत्व और सभी कारखानों में आंतरिक शिकायत समितियों की स्थापना सुनिश्चित करने पर भी जोर दिया।
