Bahujan Samaj Party leader Majid Ali, who was expelled from the party, has met Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. Ali confirmed his intention to join the SP after consulting with his colleagues, stating the meeting was held in a very positive atmosphere. He was expelled from the BSP after his brother made comments against Mayawati. Ali's primary goal is to change the government in Uttar Pradesh. He plans to officially join the Samajwadi Party after the Navratri festival.

पार्टी से निकाले गए बहुजन समाज पार्टी के नेता मजीद अली ने समाजवादी पार्टी के प्रमुख अखिलेश यादव से मुलाकात की है। अली ने अपने सहयोगियों से सलाह लेने के बाद सपा में शामिल होने के अपने इरादे की पुष्टि की और कहा कि यह मुलाकात बहुत सकारात्मक माहौल में हुई। मायावती के खिलाफ उनके भाई की टिप्पणियों के बाद उन्हें बसपा से निकाला गया था। अली का मुख्य लक्ष्य उत्तर प्रदेश में सरकार बदलना है। उन्होंने नवरात्रि के त्योहार के बाद आधिकारिक तौर पर समाजवादी पार्टी में शामिल होने की योजना बनाई है।
