Doctors Warn of Health Risks From IV Drips Marketed For Bridal Glow
Times of India · health
Doctors in Hyderabad are flagging serious health risks associated with intravenous drips promoted for achieving a bridal glow and hair growth. Once used for medical conditions, these infusions are now marketed as cosmetic quick fixes, with demand rising sharply. While some users report a temporary glow, dermatologists state that scientific evidence for cosmetic benefits like skin brightening is limited. The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation has clarified that cosmetic products cannot be injected, and skin whitening is not an approved use for glutathione injections.
