AIADMK Leader Calls Madurantakam Bypoll Forced

AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami stated that the bypoll for the Madurantakam Assembly constituency was forced due to alleged horse trading of the previously elected MLA. He claimed the MLA was bought and resigned on the advice of TVK founder C. Joseph Vijay to save their government. Palaniswami criticized the TVK candidate for lacking gratitude and disrespecting the Madurantakam electorate, asserting the AIADMK candidate had won previously due to party workers' efforts.
