IOM Ramps Up Aid As Thousands Flee Boko

Over 75,000 people have been newly displaced in Chad’s Lake Province due to recent Boko Haram attacks. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is providing emergency aid to meet their urgent needs. Most of the displaced individuals have fled the islands of Lake Chad, seeking refuge in mainland towns and villages.

चाड के लेक प्रोविंस में बोको हराम के हमलों के कारण 75,000 से ज़्यादा लोग बेघर हो गए हैं। इंटरनेशनल ऑर्गनाइजेशन फॉर माइग्रेशन (IOM) उनकी ज़रूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए तुरंत मदद दे रहा है। ज़्यादातर लोग लेक चाड के टापुओं से भागकर मुख्य भूमि के शहरों और गाँवों में शरण ले रहे हैं।
