New Zealand's Lockie Ferguson Ruled Out Of India T20I Series Due To Injury

Times of India · sports

New Zealand fast bowler Lockie Ferguson has been ruled out of the remaining T20Is against India due to a low-grade calf tear sustained during the second match. Matt Fisher has been called up as his replacement. This setback comes as New Zealand's pace attack has struggled against India's aggressive batting, with the visitors already securing an unassailable 3-0 series lead. Despite the bowling struggles, spinners Mitchell Santner and Michael Bracewell have performed well. Meanwhile, Matt Henry is expected to recover in time for the upcoming ODI series.
