India Refuses Asia Cup Trophies From ACC Chief

India's cricket teams, both men's and women's, have consciously decided not to accept Asia Cup winner's trophies from ACC chief Mohsin Naqvi. The women's team followed the men's lead after their victory over Sri Lanka. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia stated this was an institutional decision reflecting prevailing sentiments, not directed at players or the sport. He assured that India, as champions, will soon possess both trophies at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai.
