Protests demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar continued for three days in Delhi and Mumbai. दिल्ली और मुंबई में मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञान प्रकाश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर तीन दिनों से विरोध प्रदर्शन जारी रहा। दिल्ली में पुलिस ने कड़ा पहरा लगाया, जिससे प्रदर्शनकारी जंतर-मंतर तक नहीं पहुंच सके। इंडिया गेट से जंतर-मंतर तक 'नागरिक मार्च' के दौरान एआईएसए की अध्यक्ष नेहा बोरा और आप दिल्ली के अध्यक्ष सौरभ भारद्वाज जैसे नेताओं को हिरासत में लिया गया। सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता योगेंद्र यादव को भी हिरासत में लिया गया। वहीं, मुंबई में उद्धव ठाकरे की शिवसेना और राज ठाकरे की एमएनएस ने 'गर्जना मोर्चा' निकाला।
