The BJP in Telangana has reiterated its demand to include the history of Hyderabad's liberation in school textbooks. Party leaders emphasized that Hyderabad did not gain freedom on August 15, 1947, but was liberated and integrated into India on September 17, 1948, following Operation Polo and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's intervention. They highlighted the importance of historical awareness for future generations to understand the sacrifices that shaped the present.

तेलंगाना में बीजेपी ने फिर से मांग की है कि हैदराबाद के आज़ादी के इतिहास को स्कूल की किताबों में शामिल किया जाए। पार्टी नेताओं ने ज़ोर देकर कहा कि हैदराबाद 15 अगस्त 1947 को आज़ाद नहीं हुआ था, बल्कि ऑपरेशन पोलो और सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल के दखल के बाद 17 सितंबर 1948 को आज़ाद होकर भारत में शामिल हुआ था। उन्होंने भविष्य की पीढ़ियों के लिए ऐतिहासिक जागरूकता के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला।
