AUD Suspends 10 Students Indefinitely Over Protest Demands

Dr BR Ambedkar University-Delhi has indefinitely suspended 10 students who were on an indefinite strike at its Kashmere Gate campus. The students were demanding representation on administrative bodies and reinstatement of fee waivers, among other issues. The university cited alleged indiscipline, a scuffle, and damage to property as reasons for the suspension. The decision followed a review of preliminary reports and CCTV footage. The suspended students are barred from campus pending a disciplinary committee inquiry. Students claim they were suspended without a show-cause notice.

डॉ बीआर अंबेडकर यूनिवर्सिटी-दिल्ली ने अपने कश्मीरी गेट कैंपस में अनिश्चितकालीन हड़ताल पर बैठे 10 छात्रों को अनिश्चितकाल के लिए निलंबित कर दिया है। छात्र अन्य मुद्दों के अलावा, प्रशासनिक निकायों में प्रतिनिधित्व और शुल्क माफी की बहाली की मांग कर रहे थे। विश्वविद्यालय ने कथित अनुशासनहीनता, हाथापाई और संपत्ति को नुकसान पहुंचाने को निलंबन का कारण बताया। यह फैसला प्रारंभिक रिपोर्टों और सीसीटीवी फुटेज की समीक्षा के बाद आया। निलंबित छात्रों को अनुशासनात्मक समिति की जांच लंबित रहने तक कैंपस से प्रतिबंधित कर दिया गया है। छात्रों का दावा है कि उन्हें बिना कारण बताओ नोटिस के निलंबित किया गया है।
