Two Women Arrested for Cheating Jeweller With Fake Gold Chain

Two women have been arrested in Indore for allegedly defrauding a jeweller of Rs 2.31 lakh by exchanging a fake gold chain for a genuine one. The incident occurred on October 28 at Nana Bhai Jewellers in the Tukoganj area during the busy Diwali shopping season. The accused, identified as Meenakshi Raghuvanshi and Ranu Bai alias Seema Joshi, took advantage of the crowd to deceive the shop owner. Police are investigating their potential involvement in other similar fraudulent activities.

इंदौर में दो महिलाओं को एक ज्वैलर को 2.31 लाख रुपये की ठगी करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। उन्होंने असली सोने की चेन के बदले नकली चेन देकर ठगी की। यह घटना 28 अक्टूबर को नाना भाई ज्वैलर्स, तुकोगंज इलाके में दिवाली की भीड़ के दौरान हुई। पकड़ी गई आरोपी मीनाक्षी रघुवंशी और रानू बाई उर्फ सीमा जोशी ने दुकान मालिक को धोखा देने के लिए भीड़ का फायदा उठाया। पुलिस उनकी अन्य धोखाधड़ी की घटनाओं में संलिप्तता की भी जांच कर रही है।
