Supreme Court Collegium Recommends Four CJ Appointments

The Supreme Court collegium has recommended four judges for High Court Chief Justice positions, aiming to fill vacancies across India. The collegium also approved transfers for two judges from the Orissa High Court. This comes as seven out of 25 high courts are currently without Chief Justices, impacting judicial functioning.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट कॉलेजियम ने हाई कोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश के पदों के लिए चार जजों के नाम सुझाए हैं। इसका मकसद देश भर में खाली पदों को भरना है। कॉलेजियम ने ओडिशा हाई कोर्ट से दो जजों के तबादले को भी मंजूरी दी है। भारत के 25 हाई कोर्ट में से सात में अभी मुख्य न्यायाधीश नहीं हैं, जिससे न्यायिक कामकाज प्रभावित हो रहा है।
