NHRC Directs Police to Submit Action Taken Report on Kaipamangalam Accident

NHRC has instructed the Thrissur Rural Police to take appropriate action regarding a complaint about the deaths of eight engineering students in a road accident. The students, from Tamil Nadu, were killed when their car collided with a truck parked on NH 66 at Kaipamangalam. The commission has requested an action taken report within four weeks. The complaint raises concerns about road safety, traffic management, and the alleged parking of a truck on the highway.

NHRC ने थ्रिस्सूर रूरल पुलिस को सड़क हादसे में आठ इंजीनियरिंग छात्रों की मौत के संबंध में एक शिकायत पर उचित कार्रवाई करने का निर्देश दिया है। तमिलनाडु के छात्र कैपामंगलम में NH 66 पर खड़े ट्रक से उनकी कार की टक्कर में मारे गए थे। आयोग ने चार सप्ताह के भीतर कार्रवाई रिपोर्ट मांगी है। शिकायत में सड़क सुरक्षा, यातायात प्रबंधन और राजमार्ग पर कथित तौर पर ट्रक पार्क करने के बारे में चिंता जताई गई है।
