However, the CJI advised that a petition should be filed instead of a letter, stating that the court's doors are open to everyone. He explained that he declined the meeting because the matter is already under judicial consideration. Rahul Gandhi and Rajya Sabha LoP Mallikarjun Kharge had sought to discuss issues related to the 'Special Intensive Revision' of voter lists.
