Incessant rainfall has caused rivers in Jharkhand to swell, leading to inundation of low-lying areas and disruption of normal life. Several rivers, including Subernarekha and Kharkai in East Singhbhum district, are flowing above danger levels. Consequently, schools in districts like Ranchi and Jamshedpur suspended classes up to 12th grade. The weather system is expected to weaken by Saturday evening, with an improvement anticipated from Sunday. This widespread rain has significantly reduced the state's rainfall deficit.

झारखंड की नदियाँ मूसलाधार बारिश से उफान पर

झारखंड में लगातार बारिश से नदियां उफान पर हैं। निचले इलाकों में पानी भर गया है और जनजीवन अस्त-व्यस्त हो गया है। पूर्वी सिंहभूम जिले में सुवर्णरेखा और खरकई जैसी नदियां खतरे के निशान से ऊपर बह रही हैं। इस वजह से रांची और जमशेदपुर जैसे जिलों में 12वीं कक्षा तक के स्कूल बंद कर दिए गए हैं। उम्मीद है कि शनिवार शाम तक बारिश कम हो जाएगी और रविवार से मौसम सुधरेगा। इस बारिश से राज्य में पानी की कमी भी काफी हद तक पूरी हो गई है।
