Farmers Threaten To Stop Sugarcane Supply Over Rs 26 Crore Dues

Farmers affiliated with the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Arajnaitik) in Bijnor are threatening to halt sugarcane supply to Bilai Sugar Mill for the upcoming crushing season. They demand the clearance of Rs 26 crore in outstanding dues from the previous season. Farmers have submitted affidavits to the district magistrate, warning they will dump their produce at the collectorate if payments remain pending. Around 31,000 farmers are associated with the mill, many facing financial hardship due to the delay.

बिजनौर में भारतीय किसान यूनियन (अराजनीतिक) से जुड़े किसान आगामी पेराई सत्र के लिए बिलाई शुगर मिल को गन्ना आपूर्ति रोकने की धमकी दे रहे हैं। वे पिछले सत्र के ₹26 करोड़ के बकाया भुगतान की मांग कर रहे हैं। किसानों ने जिला मजिस्ट्रेट को हलफनामे सौंपे हैं, जिसमें चेतावनी दी गई है कि यदि भुगतान लंबित रहा तो वे अपना उत्पाद कलक्ट्रेट में फेंक देंगे। मिल से लगभग 31,000 किसान जुड़े हुए हैं, जिनमें से कई भुगतान में देरी के कारण वित्तीय कठिनाई का सामना कर रहे हैं।
