These third-party software tools, designed to help manage accounts, have been detected performing actions not authorized by customers. While some customers have shared login credentials, banks' systems have intervened to block potentially risky transactions. Institutions like Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, and Citi are actively blocking these unvetted agents to prevent account compromise.
