Former India opener Aakash Chopra believes 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi faces a tough challenge to break into India's T20I playing XI. Chopra noted that the team's established top-order options leave little room for the youngster. He suggested that if Sooryavanshi remains on the bench for the upcoming series against New Zealand, he should be released to play in the Ranji Trophy instead. Chopra defended Tilak Varma, stating that criticizing his performance is incorrect and that Varma has performed well as a finisher.
