River Saryu-Ghaghra Sweeps Away Mosque, Temple Threatened

A century-old mosque in Barabanki's Hetampur village was washed away by the Saryu-Ghaghra river due to heavy rain and intensified erosion. The advancing river now poses a threat to an ancient temple and a veterinary hospital. Officials have been deployed to the site to monitor the situation and implement measures to prevent further erosion and protect vulnerable structures. Equipment has been moved from the hospital as a precautionary measure.

सरयू-घाघरा नदी में बही मस्जिद, मंदिर को भी खतरा

बारबंकी के हेटमपुर गांव में एक सदी पुरानी मस्जिद सरयू-घाघरा नदी में बह गई। भारी बारिश और बढ़ते कटाव की वजह से ऐसा हुआ। अब नदी एक पुराने मंदिर और पशु चिकित्सालय के लिए भी खतरा बन गई है। अधिकारियों को मौके पर भेजा गया है ताकि वे हालात पर नजर रख सकें और कटाव रोकने व इमारतों को बचाने के उपाय कर सकें। एहतियात के तौर पर अस्पताल से सामान हटा लिया गया है।
