Uttar Pradesh is bracing for intense rainfall over the next two days, with the India Meteorological Department issuing a red alert for several districts. Extremely heavy downpours are expected in isolated locations, raising concerns about flash floods. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed district magistrates to remain vigilant and monitor arrangements, ordering schools to close in red alert districts. Officials are tasked with assessing damage and assisting affected families within 24 hours, while the public is advised to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary outdoor activity.

उत्तर प्रदेश में अगले दो दिन भारी बारिश की चेतावनी है। मौसम विभाग ने कई जिलों के लिए रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है। कुछ जगहों पर बहुत तेज बारिश हो सकती है, जिससे अचानक बाढ़ का खतरा बढ़ गया है। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने जिलाधिकारियों को सतर्क रहने और व्यवस्थाओं पर नज़र रखने का आदेश दिया है। रेड अलर्ट वाले जिलों में स्कूल बंद कर दिए गए हैं। अधिकारियों को 24 घंटे के अंदर नुकसान का आकलन कर प्रभावित परिवारों की मदद करने को कहा गया है।
