Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur Receives First Snowfall

Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur district experienced its first snowfall of the season on Saturday, blanketing higher reaches like Kuno Charang and Chitkul. This early winter chill also affected parts of Uttarakhand, with snow reported around Hemkund Sahib and on trekking routes near Badrinath. While higher elevations turned white, lower areas in both states received rain. The sudden drop in temperatures is making conditions difficult for mountain residents and their livestock. Authorities have issued weather warnings for heavy rain and snowfall, leading to the suspension of the Char Dham Yatra.

हिमाचल के किन्नौर में सीज़न की पहली बर्फबारी

हिमाचल प्रदेश के किन्नौर जिले में शनिवार को सीज़न की पहली बर्फबारी हुई, जिससे कुनो चारंग और चितकुल जैसे ऊंचे इलाके सफ़ेद चादर से ढक गए। इस शुरुआती सर्दी के असर से उत्तराखंड के भी कुछ हिस्सों में, हेमकुंड साहिब के आसपास और बद्रीनाथ के पास ट्रेकिंग मार्गों पर बर्फबारी की खबर है। जहाँ ऊपरी इलाकों में बर्फ गिरी, वहीं दोनों राज्यों के निचले इलाकों में बारिश हुई। तापमान में अचानक गिरावट से पहाड़ी निवासियों और उनके मवेशियों के लिए मुश्किलें बढ़ गई हैं। मौसम विभाग ने भारी बारिश और बर्फबारी की चेतावनी जारी की है, जिसके चलते चार धाम यात्रा को निलंबित कर दिया गया है।
