A newly discovered amphibian in Costa Rica, measuring less than 4 centimeters and known as the "spring frog," is facing significant risks. These dark green-spotted frogs were observed in the San Lorenzo de Tarrazu region. The primary threat to their survival stems from farm pesticides used in the area.
