The deceased, Devendra Sharma, alleged that his wife left for her parents' home just four days after their wedding five months ago. Subsequently, she filed a dowry harassment case and demanded ₹10 lakh. His family claims he was under immense pressure from his in-laws and police, leading to his depression and eventual suicide. The police are currently investigating the matter based on a complaint filed by the deceased's brother.
