India and the US will finalise their interim trade agreement framework considering changed circumstances, announced Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal. The two nations had announced a framework for an interim trade agreement in February, but Goyal noted that the situation has since evolved. Negotiations on the first phase of the bilateral trade agreement are continuing, with a key focus on securing comparative advantages for Indian goods. This development follows recent discussions between Goyal and US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer.
