Twelve foreign airlines, primarily from the Gulf and West Asia, have appealed to India's civil aviation ministry to reverse Mumbai airport's decision to deny them take-off and landing slots for the upcoming summer schedule. The affected carriers, including Oman Air and Qatar Airways, operate approximately 112 weekly international departures, representing nearly 15% of the airport's capacity. They argue that the slot revocation, without prior consultation, disrupts network planning and passenger connectivity.
