Sonam Wangchuk Hospitalised, Wife Seeks Transfer

Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has been hospitalised following a Delhi High Court order for daily health checks due to his deteriorating condition. His wife has appealed to shift him to another hospital for better treatment. Wangchuk has been on a hunger strike for 21 days to protest against industrialisation in Ladakh and demand its protection under the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution.

जलवायु कार्यकर्ता सोनम वांगचुक की तबीयत बिगड़ने पर दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट के आदेश के बाद उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। कोर्ट ने उनके रोज़ाना स्वास्थ्य जांच के निर्देश दिए हैं। उनकी पत्नी ने बेहतर इलाज के लिए उन्हें दूसरे अस्पताल में शिफ्ट करने की अपील की है। वांगचुक लद्दाख में औद्योगिकीकरण के विरोध में 21 दिनों से भूख हड़ताल पर हैं और संविधान की छठी अनुसूची के तहत इसे संरक्षित करने की मांग कर रहे हैं।
