Ujjain Royal Mosque Part Removal Continues For Road

In Ujjain, a section of the Royal Mosque is being voluntarily removed to facilitate road widening for the 2028 Simhastha Mahakumbh preparations. Following extensive meetings between local administration, the city Qazi, and mosque committee officials, an agreement was reached to cooperate with the development project. The Muslim community is assisting authorities in removing the mosque's affected portion, which is estimated to be between three to eight feet. The Madhya Pradesh High Court has also approved a compromise between the Muslim side and Ujjain Municipal Corporation, settling the matter.
