UP Finalises Contractors for 5 Link Expressways Worth Rs 17,104 Crore

Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has finalised contractors for eight construction packages covering five new link expressways. These projects, estimated at Rs 17,104 crore, aim to connect existing expressways and key destinations, enhancing seamless connectivity across the state. The link expressways include routes connecting Lucknow-Agra to Purvanchal, Ganga to Bundelkhand, Bundelkhand to Jhansi and Chitrakoot Dham, and Ganga to Yamuna via Noida International Airport. Targeted for completion within three years, these projects are expected to significantly improve travel and freight movement within Uttar Pradesh and towards neighbouring states.

उत्तर प्रदेश एक्सप्रेसवेज इंडस्ट्रियल डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी (UPEIDA) ने पांच नए लिंक एक्सप्रेसवे को कवर करने वाले आठ निर्माण पैकेजों के लिए ठेकेदारों को अंतिम रूप दे दिया है। ₹17,104 करोड़ के अनुमानित इन प्रोजेक्ट्स का मकसद मौजूदा एक्सप्रेसवे और मुख्य गंतव्यों को जोड़ना है, जिससे पूरे राज्य में निर्बाध कनेक्टिविटी बढ़ेगी। लिंक एक्सप्रेसवे में लखनऊ-आगरा को पूर्वांचल से, गंगा को बुन्देलखण्ड से, बुन्देलखण्ड को झांसी और चित्रकूट धाम से, और गंगा को नोएडा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे के माध्यम से यमुना से जोड़ने वाले मार्ग शामिल हैं। तीन साल के भीतर पूरा होने के लक्ष्य के साथ, इन प्रोजेक्ट्स से उत्तर प्रदेश के भीतर और पड़ोसी राज्यों की ओर यात्रा और माल ढुलाई में काफी सुधार होने की उम्मीद है।
