Kerala HC Issues Notice to MLA Kappan

The Kerala High Court has issued a notice to Pala MLA Mani C. Kappan regarding a petition seeking his disqualification. The petition was filed by businessman Dinesh Menon, who is also the complainant in cheque bounce cases where Kappan was convicted on September 1. Kappan was sentenced to three and a half years imprisonment and a fine exceeding ₹3.25 crore.

केरल HC ने MLA कप्पन को नोटिस जारी किया

केरल हाई कोर्ट ने पाला MLA मणि सी. कप्पन को अयोग्यता की मांग वाली याचिका पर नोटिस जारी किया है। यह याचिका व्यवसायी दिनेश मेनन ने दायर की है, जो चेक बाउंस मामलों में शिकायतकर्ता भी हैं। इन मामलों में कप्पन को 1 सितंबर को दोषी ठहराया गया था। कप्पन को साढ़े तीन साल की जेल और ₹3.25 करोड़ से ज़्यादा का जुर्माना हुआ था।
