Judge Writes Letter To Pocso Survivor

A 10-year-old survivor of sexual assault will receive a personal letter of encouragement from the trial judge who convicted her attacker. The Delhi High Court directed the letter be handed over within two weeks, along with compensation. The judge had previously sentenced the convict to life imprisonment, assuring the child her plea to keep the man imprisoned was heard. The court acknowledged the child's bravery in speaking out and stated the man would never be free again.

पीड़ित को जज का ख़ास ख़त

यौन उत्पीड़न की एक 10 वर्षीय पीड़ित को मुकदमे की सुनवाई करने वाले जज एक ख़ास ख़त लिखकर हिम्मत देंगे। Delhi High Court ने दो हफ़्ते के अंदर यह ख़त पीड़ित को सौंपने का आदेश दिया है, साथ ही मुआवज़ा भी दिया जाएगा। जज ने पहले दोषी को उम्रक़ैद की सज़ा सुनाई थी और बच्चे को भरोसा दिलाया था कि उसकी इस बात को सुना गया है कि उस आदमी को जेल में ही रखा जाए। कोर्ट ने बच्चे की हिम्मत की तारीफ़ की थी कि उसने सच बोलने की हिम्मत की और कहा था कि वह आदमी अब कभी आज़ाद नहीं होगा।
