Kochi: 30-Year-Old Woman Pedestrian Killed By Speeding Private Bus

A 30-year-old woman, Akshara S., was tragically killed in Kochi after being struck by a private bus allegedly travelling at excessive speed. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning near Kakkanad as she was walking home from a gym. The bus, travelling in the opposite direction, hit her and ran her over. Police have arrested the bus driver, Binoy, on charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Akshara, a native of Thrissur, succumbed to her injuries later that morning.
