A second woman has died following a Caesarean section at NMCH within a 24-hour period, sparking renewed public anger over maternal healthcare. Roshan Bairwa, admitted for severe anaemia, died Saturday morning after a C-section due to severe postpartum haemorrhage, despite medical intervention. This incident follows the death of another woman, Reshma, on Friday night due to kidney complications after her fourth C-section. Hospital authorities stated Roshan's case was high-risk and unrelated to previous renal failure incidents.

एनएमएच में 24 घंटे के भीतर सिजेरियन सेक्शन के बाद एक दूसरी महिला की मौत हो गई, जिससे मातृ स्वास्थ्य सेवा को लेकर फिर से जन आक्रोश भड़क गया है। गंभीर एनीमिया के कारण भर्ती रोशना बैरवा की शनिवार सुबह गंभीर प्रसवोत्तर रक्तस्राव के कारण सी-सेक्शन के बाद मौत हो गई, भले ही चिकित्सा हस्तक्षेप किया गया था। यह घटना शुक्रवार रात को चौथी सी-सेक्शन के बाद किडनी की जटिलताओं के कारण एक अन्य महिला, रेशमा की मौत के बाद हुई है। अस्पताल अधिकारियों ने कहा कि रोशना का मामला उच्च जोखिम वाला था और पिछली गुर्दे की विफलता की घटनाओं से असंबंधित था।
