India Plans Own 350 kmph Bullet Trains

India is planning to develop and manufacture its own high-speed bullet trains with a design speed of 350 kmph, known as B35, by 2030. This initiative aims to put indigenous trains on par with Japan's next-generation E10 series. The first B28 trains, manufactured by BEML with a design speed of 280 kmph, are expected for trial runs in early 2027.
