Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev reported that sea and aerial drones struck two commercial vessels approximately 70 nautical miles off Bulgaria's coast. The Togo-flagged Alfa Watan sank, prompting a search for its missing crew, while the Palau-flagged Able caught fire. Eighteen crew members were evacuated from the Able, with two sustaining serious injuries and requiring hospitalization. Radev condemned the attacks as "absolutely unacceptable" and a violation of international law, noting the disruption to Black Sea shipping and rising insurance costs.
