Teacher, Staff Assault Student, Lock Mother in Goa School

Mandrem police in Goa have registered a case against a school teacher and other staff for allegedly assaulting a 14-year-old student and locking his mother inside the school. The teacher reportedly slapped the boy for using a short notebook instead of a long one. When the mother raised the issue on the school WhatsApp group, she was summoned and allegedly confined in the control room. Police have invoked sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Goa Children's Act, with further investigation ongoing.
