Telangana HC Extends Stay on Order to Relieve HYDRAA Commissioner

The Telangana High Court has extended its stay on a single judge's order directing the State government to relieve IPS officer A.V. Ranganath from his post as HYDRAA Commissioner. This interim direction was issued in two contempt appeals filed by Ranganath. The division bench also vacated its earlier order that restrained the HYDRAA Commissioner from interfering with the possession of a land parcel by M/s Shanta Sriram Constructions Private Limited.

तेलंगाना हाई कोर्ट ने राज्य सरकार को IPS अधिकारी ए.वी. रंगनाथ को HYDRAA कमिश्नर के पद से रिलीव करने के एकल न्यायाधीश के आदेश पर अपनी रोक बढ़ा दी है। यह अंतरिम निर्देश रंगनाथ द्वारा दायर दो अवमानना अपीलों में जारी किया गया था। डिवीजन बेंच ने HYDRAA कमिश्नर को M/s Shanta Sriram Constructions Private Limited द्वारा एक भूमि पार्सल के कब्जे में हस्तक्षेप करने से रोकने वाले अपने पहले के आदेश को भी रद्द कर दिया।
