Ukraine's air force reported intercepting five ballistic missiles launched by Russia overnight. Despite these defenses, other missiles and drones successfully struck the capital city, Kyiv. This marks the first time in nearly two months that Russia has employed ballistic missiles in its attacks on Ukraine. The ongoing aerial assaults highlight the persistent threat to Ukrainian infrastructure and civilian areas.
