CBI Nabs 25-Year Fugitive Accused In Fodder Scam Case

CBI has apprehended Satyendra Kumar, an accused absconding for over 25 years in a fodder scam case. Following a tip-off, he was arrested on a train at Lucknow Railway Station while travelling from Guna to Lucknow. The CBI had been tracking his movements from Nepal to India using physical and technical surveillance. Kumar had gone underground after a charge sheet was filed in 2001 and a perpetual arrest warrant was issued against him.

सीबीआई ने चारा घोटाले के एक मामले में 25 साल से फरार चल रहे आरोपी सत्येंद्र कुमार को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। मुखबिर से मिली सूचना के बाद, उसे लखनऊ रेलवे स्टेशन पर एक ट्रेन से पकड़ा गया, जब वह गुना से लखनऊ जा रहा था। सीबीआई पिछले कुछ समय से नेपाल से भारत तक उसकी गतिविधियों पर नजर रख रही थी, जिसमें फिजिकल और टेक्निकल सर्विलांस का इस्तेमाल किया गया। कुमार 2001 में चार्जशीट दाखिल होने और उसके खिलाफ स्थायी गिरफ्तारी वारंट जारी होने के बाद से फरार हो गया था।
