Lucknow-developed Aadhaar system goes nationwide

A new Token Management System (TMS) developed by the UIDAI's Lucknow regional office has been launched nationwide to improve Aadhaar services. Announced on Aadhaar Day in Kolkata, the system allows citizens to book appointments via QR code or the UIDAI portal, receiving digital tokens to avoid long queues. This citizen-centric digital queue management system was conceived by Lt Col Prashant Kumar Singh. The initiative aims to reduce overcrowding and enhance the efficiency of Aadhaar service delivery across all regional offices.
