Main Supplier Arrested in Seizure of 8,800 Banned Tablets

Fatehabad police have arrested Nishan Singh, an alleged main supplier in the seizure of 8,800 banned intoxicant tablets worth approximately Rs 5.5 lakh. The arrest followed information obtained during the interrogation of another accused, Shahid Babu Saifi, who was apprehended with the consignment. The seized tablets included 4,000 tramadol and 4,800 alprazolam. Police are continuing their investigation into the broader supply network as part of an ongoing anti-drug drive in the district.

फतेहाबाद पुलिस ने लगभग 5.5 लाख रुपये की 8,800 प्रतिबंधित नशीली गोलियों की खेप के मामले में मुख्य सप्लायर निशान सिंह को गिरफ्तार किया है। यह गिरफ्तारी खेप के साथ पकड़े गए एक अन्य आरोपी शाहिद बाबू सैफी से पूछताछ के दौरान मिली जानकारी के बाद हुई। जब्त की गई गोलियों में 4,000 ट्रामाडोल और 4,800 अल्प्राजोलम शामिल थीं। पुलिस जिले में चल रहे नशा विरोधी अभियान के तहत व्यापक आपूर्ति नेटवर्क की जांच जारी रखे हुए है।
