PoK Protests Demand LoC Removal, Open Routes

Over 25,000 people participated in a major demonstration in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir's Mandhol village, located near the LoC. Led by JKJAAC leader Sardar Aman Khan, the protesters demanded the removal of the Line of Control (LoC) and the reopening of old routes connecting to Poonch and Mendhar. Khan announced plans for a sit-in protest near the LoC fencing to press for these demands. The demonstration also saw accusations against the Pakistan Army for allegedly abandoning posts during firing and later targeting locals.
