Flood-Hit Lucknow Sees Health Teams Intensify Medical Surveys and Disease Prevention

Health department teams in Lucknow are intensifying medical surveys and relief operations in flood-affected areas, focusing on patient care and preventing water-borne and mosquito-borne diseases. Mobile medical units and 24-hour health camps are providing treatment and essential medicines, with ASHA and ANM workers conducting door-to-door surveys. Municipal commissioner Gaurav Kumar also reviewed relief measures, directing officials to ensure supplies and sanitation. The efforts aim to protect residents, especially vulnerable groups, from health risks associated with the floods.

लखनऊ में स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीमें बाढ़ प्रभावित इलाकों में मेडिकल सर्वे और राहत कार्यों को तेज कर रही हैं। इनका ध्यान मरीजों के इलाज और पानी से होने वाली बीमारियों व मच्छरों से फैलने वाली बीमारियों को रोकने पर है। मोबाइल मेडिकल यूनिट और 24 घंटे चलने वाले हेल्थ कैंप इलाज और जरूरी दवाएं दे रहे हैं। आशा और एएनएम कार्यकर्ता घर-घर जाकर सर्वे कर रही हैं। नगर आयुक्त गौरव कुमार ने भी राहत उपायों की समीक्षा की और अधिकारियों को सप्लाई और साफ-सफाई सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया। इन कोशिशों का मकसद बाढ़ से जुड़े स्वास्थ्य खतरों से लोगों को बचाना है, खासकर कमजोर तबके को।
